Did anyone of you face the situation, when someone in front of you considers you as non-Muslim? What was your reaction?

I am not talking about the Muslims living in non-Muslim countries. They face these on daily basis.

I am concern with the Muslims living in a Muslim country like Pakistan, UAE, etc. Some of you consider it non-seriously but I am going to quote you a true little story beneath;

Some days back I was in the hospital for a test. Some of you might know that huge number of nurses in our hospitals in Pakistan belongs to Christian religion.  There are also Muslims nurses but I think they are only 25%. Anyhow the nurse in the room was Muslim. I was lying on the bed and she suddenly asked the Doctor in the room, “Sir, did you consider me non-Muslim?” Actually she was new in the Hospital and she thought that Doctor didn’t know about her religion so she asked the Doctor that question? Doctor replied, “No sister I have seen your name in profile and I knew about your religion very well”.

“Ohh I see, actually everyone in the hospital thinks that I am Christian and I have to tell everyone that I am Muslim” She said.

My face was towards the wall and I could not see her face while she was talking to Doctor and I can’t tell you her face expressions.

She also added “Even some patients in the Hospital also consider me as a Christian and once a patient asked me for dressing, I replied that I am going to say my NAMAZ and I will be back in 5 min for your dressing, that patient said sorry to me for considering me a Christian”

This is the story I have to tell you all, now consider yourselves in place of that nurse what will be your feelings?

After that incident I often asked myself what is in that story? Could you tell me?

I have only one question in my mind after this

How a Muslim can be recognized between different religions?

Anyone has an answer to this question?

Ok I have!

For Muslim Men—————————-Beard

For Muslim Women————————Hijab
